I’m humbled and stoked to sign another cover for our friends at In the Loop Magazine. This one is especially meaningful, as it features a story that brings together a group of people I deeply admire. What started as a fishing trip turned into one of those experiences that reminds you why we keep coming back to these rivers year after year.

There are moments in fishing that feel almost timeless, where the line between past and present blurs for a second. On this trip, we were lucky enough to witness one of those moments. A powerful Atlantic salmon—pushing the 40 lb mark—slid into the net, carrying with it the weight of history. Fish like that feel like echoes from another era, a reminder of what these rivers once were and, every now and then, still can be.

Moments like this are rare, and sharing them with good friends makes them even more meaningful. This story is about much more than a single catch—it’s about the people, the river, and those fleeting seconds that stay with you long after the season is over.
