Very soon, we premiere on Caza y Pesca de Movistar+ the documentary “Autumn Salmon in the River Dee.” The Scottish River Dee is one of the great worldwide sanctuaries of the Atlantic salmon. Its waters are the cradle of fly fishing for this species, the place where a passion was born that today moves thousands of enthusiasts.

Its physiognomy makes it especially attractive for fly fishing, with unbeatable pools and currents for this modality, all set in a framework of spectacular beauty and paired with that very British glamour.

A successful conservation management policy implemented years ago is returning the River Dee to really good return figures. The upstream migrations of specimens are constant throughout the entire season, so at the end of it, thousands of specimens are found distributed throughout the river.

If we add to that the fact that its season extends until mid-October, giving the angler the opportunity to fish a species that in other latitudes, like Spain, has been closed for months, it is more than enough reason to venture out to visit these mythical waters in full autumn.
